Step-by-step guide

Follow these steps to install the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App on your personal computer

  1. First, download the application from the Adobe website. Here is a quick link: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html#ProblemsinstallingTryalternativedownloadlinks
  2. Click the alternate download for the platform you are on (Mac or Windows), install the application and then launch it
    1. Note: On the Mac, the file downloaded is a .dmg file. You will need to double click this and in the resulting window double click the "Install" app
  3. On app launch you are presented with the Install Creative Cloud window, click the Sign In button
  4. Enter your RIT email address and then hit Continue
  5. The Shibboleth window for RIT is now presented. Enter your RIT Username and enter your current password
  6. Once authenticated, you can now click Start Installing which will install the CC Desktop App
  7. Adobe Desktop App viewer is now presented and you can choose which applications you want to install. Enjoy
